If excessive attenuation is detected, the line must be thoroughly inspected and adjusted accordingly.

Additionally, termination and connection of the customer-side drop cable are critical. After connection, optical power must be retested to ensure compliance with requirements. Post-installation operational checks are equally essential, including verifying normal service usage and confirming device inclusion in the network management monitoring system.
For smart home gateway placement, prioritize spacious areas like living rooms. Position the device 50–100 cm above the floor to optimize Wi-Fi coverage. Avoid placing it directly on the floor or inside multimedia cabinets to prevent signal degradation.
